Jacoby Cr 15 minute map (jpeg -- 2.5 Mb)
Topographic map of the Jacoby Cr drainage, in color, as jpeg image. Scanned from USGS 15 min quads at 300 dpi.

Humboldt County rain gage locations (gif)
Map of locations of raingages listed in Humboldt County Rainfall Data

Lab 2 Cumulative rainfall graph (pdf)
A plot of the cumulative rainfall at 1) Eureka, 2) Honeydew 1SW, and 3) Kneeland 10SSE for the period 2100 16 Nov 1982 through 0000 20 Nov 1982.

Lab 2 Thiessen basemap (pdf)
Lab 2 Thiessen basemap (gif)
Basemap of the Eureka - McKinleyville-Korbel-Kneeland area for constructing Thiessen polygons

Humboldt and Del Norte County isohtyetal map (pdf)
Map of annual rainfall in Humboldt & Del Norte Counties, in inches. From Rantz, S.E. (1964) Surface-Water Hydrology of Coastal Basins of Northern California: USGS Water-Supply Paper 1754.

Humboldt and Del Norte County evapotranspiration map (pdf)
Map of annual potential and actual evapotranspiration in Humboldt & Del Norte Counties, in inches. From Rantz, S.E. (1964), Surface-Water Hydrology of Coastal Basins of Northern California: USGS Water-Supply Paper 1754.

Northern California rainfall frequency maps (gif)
Maps of rainfall intensity and frequency from the USWB Precipitation Frequency Atlas of the Western U.S., v. XI: California.

Humboldt County dimensionless flow-duration curve (pdf)
Dimensionless regional flow-duration curve created by plotting ratio of discharge to mean annual discharge (Q/Qav) vs. percent of time for Elk River, Jacoby Creek, Little River, North Fork Mad River, and Redwood Creek O'Kane USGS gages and averaging. Can be used to synthesize a flow-duration curve for any Humboldt Co. stream for which Qav (mean annual discharge) can be estimated.

Northern California regional skew map (gif)
Map of regional skew for log-Pearson Type III flood frequency analysis. From U.S. Interagency Advisory Committee on Water Data (1982) Bulletin #17B: Guidelines for Determining Flood Flow Frequency.
